Dear Friends and Family:
Fourteen years ago, I lost someone very close to me. Ruth Polce was one of the kindest and most loving people I have ever known. “Mama Ruth” had a profound impact on me and everyone with whom she came in contact. When she was diagnosed with Leukemia, we were shaken. Knowing how she always served others before herself and, with her steadfast faith, she battled the disease bravely before she eventually succumbed to this awful disease. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of her.
In her memory, please help me support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night (LTN) by donating towards my fundraising efforts today. Money raised from Light the Night allows LLS to fund treatments for patients who are suffering from all forms of blood cancers. LLS’ funding saves thousands of lives every day.

Cancer impacts all of us, but because of events like Light The Night we can make a difference. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Together, we can take one step closer to finder a cure.
