According to information from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, driving-related incidents accounted for more than 2 out of every 5 fatal work injuries in 2012 — more than any other occupational category. When we say “drivers,” we’re talking about more than just long-haul truckers or other workers whose primary job is to operate a vehicle.

With that in mind, United Heartland has launched our Road to Safety driving campaign, targeted to businesses with employees who undertake incidental driving as part of their everyday operations. Accidents can happen in a flash, which is why it’s critical to understand the importance of safe driving.
