One-third of U.S. workers aren’t getting enough sleep, and it’s taking a serious toll on productivity. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 40.6 million American civilian workers, or 30 percent, don’t get enough sleep. To combat this statistic, a growing number of companies are beginning to address sleep as a well-being issue among their workforce and are providing instructional courses and special lighting to help their employees improve their sleep habits.
