If this line rings at an inconvenient time, you’ll know to get yourself into a space where you can switch to your “professional voice” and talk without distraction, or to return the call in a few minutes when the mayhem at home is under control. Use this number on your resume, in your LinkedIn profile and for all other business communications: This can enhance your professional image, and it also acts as a buffer between your professional and personal life.
Put Your Extra Line to Work
